Job title: CONSULTANT (Plant Connectivity)
Work Location: USA (Hybrid) Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Nashville, Atlanta (WFH / Remote)
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be a Lead Consultant contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.
You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose
and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and
deployment of the overall solution. You will work with and guide teams on project processes,
deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability
building and help detail the project scope. Accountable for excellent delivery of consulting projects,
direct consulting and revenue/profitability targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing IT applications and expertise in
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial IoT (IIOT) and ERP solutions
The candidate will have to have sound knowledge in MES architecture and design with sound
understanding of Master Data Management, MBOM, Operations, Routing, Work Instructions,
Checklists, equipment, materials.
The candidate will have to have sound knowledge in Discrete manufacturing and should have
worked in Digitization projects that involves integration of SCADA, MES and ERP.
Work closely with Customer to gather requirements of solution to be developed that involves
MES, ERP and SCADA. Should play a role as Solution Architect.
Experience with Plant Connectivity solutions (OPC-UA / SCADA), like Kepware and
IGNITION is a must. Ignition-trained or Gold-certified is preferred.
Should have worked in global environment Onsite and offshore model and should be able to
pass on customer requirements to offshore team and guide them.
Should have strong and clear verbal and written communication skills including addressing
escalations, presenting status in management meetings.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Good Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Experience as Lead Consultant / Lead Architect in a reputable Consulting firm
Track record of delighting manufacturing clients through outstanding consultative work, ideally in
Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Factory of the Future, and MES / IIoT / AI engagements
Experience working at the front end of technology solutioning with smart manufacturing and
Industry 4.0 solutions incl. MES/IIoT, data capture sensors/hardware and software solutions
(note: OPC-UA / Kepware and IGNITION experience is a must)
Experience leading complex problem-solving and solution architecture workshops
Deep expertise in strategize, design and value realization across specific areas of manufacturing
value chain leveraging technology and data/analytics
Consulting Experience Qualification & Experience
Industrial, Mechanical, Electric, or relevant Engineering or Computer Science degree with
minimum 10 years of work experience in a reputed consulting or manufacturing firm(s)
