Field Service Technician
Location: Herriman, Utah (Full-time, On-site)
Role Description: The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless coverage and capacity delivery systems in various environments.
Qualifications:
Experience in installing and maintaining wireless systems.
Technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong communication skills.
Electrical or Telecommunications certification is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repairs of mining machinery.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting in mining environments.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PLC systems, automation, and control systems.
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and software for electrical troubleshooting.
Background in communication systems related to mining machinery.
Ability to work on battery-electric or hybrid mining equipment.
Experience with RF communications systems used in mining environments.
MSHA certification for Surface and Underground metal non-metal is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in harsh mining environments, including underground operations.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and be on-call as needed.
Work schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off, rotating between day and night shifts.
Salary : $50,000 - $74,998
