Job Description : The Transformation Director will lead IT transformation projects at Sony Pictures, aligning IT initiatives with business goals, optimizing operations, and delivering strategic IT solutions. Practical experience of leading or executing a large engagement in Managed Services Model. This role ensures successful implementation of the proposed transformation initiatives, process improvements, and continuous innovation across the SPE IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategy & Leadership :
Define and lead the IT transformation roadmap, ensuring business alignment.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives.
Practical experience of leading or executing a large engagement in Managed Services Model
Reviews with customer. Understand and manage customer’s requirements / timelines.
Handle and managing escalations
Take proper action and provide the feedback of action items.
2. Stakeholder Engagement :
Collaborate with senior executives and business units to drive transformation initiatives.
Manage expectations and ensure clear communication.
3. Program Management :
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Implement governance frameworks and track project performance.
This involves planning, execution, monitoring, resource procurement and tracking of each delivery to ensure its on track
While managing the current Operational parameters; look for process gaps, further improvement areas
Implementing the mitigation plan and leveraging appropriate tools and methodologies to Improve Overall Project Dashboard
Review of the deliverables before the delivery and final inspection of deliverables
Ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and within customer expectations on quality and functionality
Ensuring quality expectation is met for each delivery
4. Operational Excellence :
Identify and execute opportunities for process optimization and IT modernization.
Promote innovation, automation, and best practices in IT management.
5. Financial Oversight :
Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Maximize ROI for IT investments.
6. Change & Adoption :
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
7. Risk Management :
Identify risks, ensure compliance, and implement mitigation strategies.
