Job Overview
The PCEP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating curriculum updates of the Parent-Child Education Program, ensuring fidelity of programming and supporting the overall success of implementation across the AVANCE network. The PCEP Coordinator works closely with chapter educators and other stakeholders to gather feedback and improve program quality. The PCEP Coordinator role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Fidelity:
- Ensure that PCEP is implemented with fidelity across the network.
- Conduct regular assessments and observations of AVANCE chapters to maintain high standards of program delivery.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff to ensure consistent and effective program implementation.
- Curriculum Coordination:
- Develop and update curriculum materials based on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Ensure curriculum content aligns with educational research and organizational goals.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and improve program quality.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to discuss curriculum updates and program fidelity.
- Communicate program goals, updates, and outcomes to all relevant parties.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to program impact and curriculum effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of curriculum changes and program evaluations.
- Training and Professional Development
- Develop and deliver ongoing targeted professional development sessions for educators.
- Ensure educators utilize data and best practices to implement the program effectively.
- Provide resources and support to help educators integrate new strategies and tools into their teaching.
- Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education
Required:
-
Associate Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field
Preferred:
-
Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field
Work Experience
Required:
-
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in program coordination, curriculum development, or a related role.
Preferred:
-
Experience with implementation of AVANCE’s Parent-Child Education Program.

Experience with digital curriculum platforms.
Additional Skills

Knowledge of current early childhood education standards and best practices.

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Travel

Ability to travel to various sites: Dependable transportation is required daily with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record (subject to annual MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) check and policy), current auto liability insurance and be bondable by AVANCE, Inc.

Travel required up to 25% of the time for work-related site visits, meetings, and functions.

Mental and Physical Demands
Maintain emotional control under stress; work with interruptions and deadlines; walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; occasional: lifting/carrying, pulling/pushing 10-30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Environmental Factors
Occasional exposure to biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.). Occasional expose to weather related conditions when working in outside environment/neighborhoods and events.
