INVENTORY DATA ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY :
Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing inventory data to optimize stock levels, improve supply chain efficiency, and minimize costs. This role involves collecting, interpreting, and presenting data related to inventory performance, forecasting demand, and ensuring data-driven decisions to streamline operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collect and analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Evaluate stock levels, turnover rates, and demand fluctuations.
- Monitor inventory to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Work with procurement and logistics teams to manage reorder levels and lead times.
- Develop demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
- Create and maintain inventory performance dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to implement best practices for inventory control.
- Use ERP and inventory management software for data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data across systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, operations, finance) to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure inventory processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in conducting inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Conduct cycle counts, prepare for physical inventory, and material flow optimization.
- All other duties as assigned.
