- Addressing and solving equipment related operations issues.
- Making decisions about acceptable vs. unacceptable quality of products.
- Ensure quality standards are being met.
- Identify areas for improvement and voice issues that operators have with equipment, process, and procedures.
- Identify and Implement equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure conditions of tooling and equipment are maintained.
- Understand and know the products and procedures.
- Managing/ overseeing the installation of equipment.
- Lead and work with the 60 operators per shift across 6 lines (2 people on assembly per line, 2 people on packaging per line and 3 people on material handling for all of the lines).
- Oversee the operator’s performance and adherence to the process procedure.
- Ensure that quotas are being met.
- Ensure that correct tools are available and in good working order for each operator.
- Managing operators' occurrences, reporting occurrences
- Holding daily stand-up meetings to start each shift.
- Keep a shift log of activities, performance, issues/ events.
- Have a shift handover meeting with next shift supervisor.
- Address production related problems as they arise.
- Train operators on the process and procedures of the equipment.
- Help to install the new equipment in facility.
Salary : $50 - $63
