Requirements:
Manufacturing Engineering Planner- Level 3.
Client Systems experience preferable, due to SAP training requirements for system access.
Phase one : 737 fuselage-Research and input torque requirements . Must be able to interrogate Boeing engineering drawings and models. Must be able to interrogate and drill down into specifications to determine torque values.. Must understand bill of material, routing and inspection processes.
Phase 2: 777-8F or 737 Fuselage- General manufacturing engineering work. Specification plans, bill of material, routing, tooling requests, liaison, and shop floor support.
Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
Description :
- Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge to develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.
- Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material.
- Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts.
- Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, addresses producibility issues, production &postproduction problems.
- Has the ability to demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan.
- Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour
