The Role
The incumbent will report to the Associate Director of Molding & Extrusion, responsible for the medical devices business. The incumbent will be responsible for design, development, and commercialization of molding processes and equipment for existing products and other new medical devices. They will work with Marketing and project leaders to create / redefine product specifications through innovative and robust processing solutions. They will also be expected to assist in quality system compliance and regulatory filings with the FDA and other agencies outside the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct on the press scientific molding studies consisting of :
Mold balance studies, rheology studies, gate freeze studies, cool time studies, pack pressure studies etc.
Salary Range :
The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $86,657 - $144,503. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
