About the Role :
As a 6th Grade Math Teacher at AVANT GARDE ACADEMY, you will be responsible for providing students with a strong foundation in mathematics. You will be expected to create and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and engage students in the learning process. Additionally, you will assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure all students meet academic goals. Your ultimate goal will be to prepare students for success in higher-level math courses and beyond.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Valid teaching certification in the state of Florida
- Experience teaching math at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of math concepts and ability to effectively communicate them to students
