Essential Functions of the Job
- Facilities and Housing Management: Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of corporate offices, apartments, and warehouse facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections, manage repair and maintenance programs, and maintain security systems for office keys and apartment access. Oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes, ensuring smooth transitions and policy compliance.
- Fleet and Transportation Operations: Oversee fleet management, ensuring vehicle maintenance, safety compliance, and cost efficiency. Schedule and coordinate transportation for healthcare professionals (HCPs), working with vendors and occasionally driving Avant vehicles as needed.
- Vendor Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate and supervise contracted service vendors, ensuring preventative maintenance, fulfillment of service contracts, and resolution of performance concerns. Ensure all operations comply with safety protocols, legal regulations, and internal policies.
- Team Coordination and Development: Support staffing, training, and scheduling to ensure proper coverage and efficient operations within the logistics team. Communicate housing policies and logistics to HCPs during onboarding and manage communications regarding apartment updates and maintenance notifications.
- Operational Support and Emergency Response: Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and communicate project plans and updates to internal teams and external partners. Serve as a key point of contact during emergencies, including severe weather events, coordinating critical responses as needed.
- Administrative and Cross-Department Collaboration: Manage building and apartment work orders using internal systems, ensuring timely resolution and efficient communication with vendors. Collaborate with internal departments to provide updates on apartment availability, maintenance, and operational concerns. Support corporate events and meeting setups, maintaining prepared and operational spaces.
- Policy Implementation and Communication: Assist in developing and implementing housing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable laws. Educate HCPs about housing policies, apartment expectations, and logistics to maintain compliance and a positive onboarding experience.

Normal Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or logistics operations with proven ability to coordinate complex projects.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience with skills in team development and cross-departmental collaboration.
- OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while independently addressing operational challenges or emergencies.
- Cultural awareness and crisis management capabilities to support diverse teams and healthcare professionals in transition.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels and with external vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for reporting, presentations, and general communication.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain.
- Must possess a clean and valid Florida driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with ability to be covered under Avant’s auto insurance policy.
