We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Cath Lab team in Alaska. In this vital role, you will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including sterile field preparation.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification preferred.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
