Function:
- Administer and monitor radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform diagnostic PET and Nuclear Medicine scans
- Collaborate with physicians for accurate imaging diagnostics
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS, ensuring proper patient identification and verification.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and safety of imaging equipment.
What You’ll Need:
- Associate's Degree or Higher from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) licensure
- ARRT- NM Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine) OR NMTCB certification (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) through AHA
- 1–2 years of PET/NM experience
- Familiarity with CT technology and imaging protocols
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift equipment and patients (up to 300 lbs assisted)
- Long hours standing/walking
- Attention to image quality and patient care
