You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists, to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators.
- Verify patient identity and treatment parameters.
- Position patients using immobilization devices and laser alignment.
- Monitor patients during treatment and document observations.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and side effects.
- Collaborate with the treatment team on treatment planning and delivery.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate treatment records in the EMR.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy.
- ARRT (T) certification.
