Are you a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist, Medical Imaging Specialist, ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech) looking for a flexible, per diem opportunity? We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring top-tier patient care. This position operates under the guidance of the Radiology Supervisor and works closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams in a fast-paced hospital or clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray, fluoroscopy, and radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to imaging protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and medical professionals to assess and execute imaging needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and documentation for compliance.
- Mentor and support junior radiologic technologists and imaging assistants.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide coverage as needed.
- Travel to satellite locations or outpatient centers for mobile imaging procedures as required.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program approved by the AMA.
- California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – R).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- 1 years of experience in hospital-based radiography or clinical imaging.
- Experience working with PACS, RIS, and digital imaging software.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
Additional Information:
- Competitive per diem pay with flexible scheduling.
- No benefits, commission, or bonus eligibility.
- Overtime is not available.
