Qualifications:
- Must Have Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Must Have Excellent Organizational and Telephone Skills
- Demonstrates The Ability to Communicate and Work Effectively With Others
- Demonstrates Ability To Work With Minimal Supervision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Basic Word, Excel and Internet Skills
- Capable of Reading, Interpreting and Writing English
- Positive Attitude Towards the Elderly
- Must be a Ceritified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A)
Essential Job Functions:
- Act as a focus of communication in the facility regarding patient and family care concerns
- Communicate with all contacts in a clear, concise, accurate and considerate manner to ensure that resident/patient needs and concerns are resolved
- Respond to patient call lights as needed, determine specific patient need, and refer patient needs to appropriate staff
- Answer phones promptly and professionally, screen and refer calls in accordance with patient care unit rules and responsibilities
- Make runs to pick up resident personal care itemsAssist staff in completion of new resident belongings on inventory list
- Inspect all rooms prioir to admission, complete checklist and place name on door
