Job Description
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work closely with our Occupational Therapist to assess, treat, and document resident progress.
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of residents, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Document daily care as per established guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or willingness to obtain certification within six months of employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
