About the Show
The Art of the Hustle is a Denver-based reality series created by Amanda Corrales that chronicles the journey of local women artists and entrepreneurs as they build community through creativity and business. It blends storytelling, cultural celebration, and documentary filmmaking.
Role Overview
The Production Intern will assist with various aspects of pre-production, filming, and post-production. This role is hands-on and suited for those interested in reality TV, documentary production, and the intersection of arts and media.
Responsibilities
- Assist with set preparation and breakdown
- Support camera and sound crew during shoots
- Help manage and track equipment
- Coordinate with cast, crew, and locations
- Take detailed production notes/logs
- Assist with file storage and transfer after shoots
- Participate in production meetings and creative brainstorming
Position tracks
To be assigned based on intern interest/experience:
- Production Assistant (PA) – on-call support for any crew needs
- Camera Assist – second hands for framing, focus, battery swaps
- Sound Assist – monitors lav mics and boom, handles backups
- Behind-the-Scenes Capture – short reels for social media or Patreon
- Logistics & Scheduling Support – crew meals, call sheets, equipment lists
- Talent Liaison – helps coordinate with cast, manages release forms
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with DSLR cameras and audio gear
- Interest in storytelling, arts, or entrepreneurship
- Problem-solving mindset and flexibility
