AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage an Administrative Assistant to provide basic clerical and administrative support to the AG client on site within the United States Capitol Police and Office of Information Systems.
This position requires the work to be performed on-site in Washington, DC at the United States Capitol Police Headquarters.
The WORK
- Perform basic front desk administrative duties: receiving and distributing mail, filing materials and making photocopies.
- Serve as timekeeper for 30 Federal employee staff using WorkBrain to ensure all timecards are received, verified and have all required information. Proactively manage timecards daily to ensure timely submission. Maintain, track and file time and attendance records for future retrieval.
- Scan and upload materials into pre-created folders in SharePoint.
- Collect and maintain up-to-date information on office documents such as OIS organizational charts, office phone lists, emergency contact lists, etc.
- Facilitate leadership inquiries such as requests to reserve conference rooms.
- Compile and prepare recurring reports when requested by retrieving data from systems and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Monitor office supply inventory. Prepare office supply orders and fulfill printing requests (such as for business cards or glossy materials).
- Process physical door access/entry requests with the Security Service Bureau.
