Shipping Technician

You will be responsible for completing the final packaging of Croda products and shipping Croda products to domestic and international customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:

- Complete order selection process by pulling finished pre-packaged product(s) from walk-in freezers to match up with customer orders
- Facilitate pre-shipment verification tasks; verification of the products selected vs products ordered, customer shipment information, order number, total qty. ordered, size of packaging unit, product physical state, product lot number)
- Apply all applicable shipping labels boxes (According to IATA guidelines)
- Prepare all applicable shipping documentation (Shipment Packing List, Commercial Invoice, ACE)
- Pack products in appropriate shipping containers according to their physical state
- Pack corrugated cardboard inner-packed shipping containers in Styrofoam coolers with specified amounts of dry ice or icepacks based on final destination
- Pack Styrofoam coolers in corrugated cardboard shipping boxes with specific shipping labels
- Apply appropriate dangerous goods material labels and other shipping labels to the corrugated shipper (According to IATA guidelines)
- Management of the Extruder parts inventory
- FIFO management of dry ice totes utilized for shipping operations
- Assist with the management of resupply for all required shipping materials
- Maintain organization of all personal spaces
- Fulfil all housekeeping requirements to maintain the upkeep and standards of the facilities the shipping group is responsible for
- Adherence to all job specific safety requirements outlined by the SHE group
- Complete freezer maintenance requirements (product storage bin downsizing, dicing all built up ice, tracking temp. information, proper storage qualifications being met, emptied bins removed)
- Complete all scheduled training assignments within the Master Control and MyCroda applications

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically able to bend at the knees in order to pull products from bottom shelves
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods
- Must be physically able to walk long distances
- Must be physically able to work in -20°C freezer for extended time periods- (Safety PPE provided)
- Must complete IATA certification training to have the ability to process dangerous goods material and to meet shipping regulations (OJT training provided)
- Sit Down Forklift Certification (LP & Electric)
- Handling, moving and shoveling of dry ice
- Must wear required PPE (Safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves for specific tasks)
- Ability to understand and function efficiently within the order processing application SalesPad
- Basic understanding of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clear understanding of shipment schedules
- Must possess the ability to stay on task and have good time management skills
- Must have a high level of communication skills
- Ability to stay on task and work independently at times
- Must be able to function as a part of a team and work well with others
