The Multi-Site Community Manager travels to various properties in the Avanti portfolio. They are a pivotal leader that guides and encourages each team member to achieve operational goals. They will help manage residents, guests, and vendors, providing exceptional professional and courteous customer service. In addition, this role will take charge of the property’s financials and approve charges made to the property. The Community Manager will always be responsible for the asset’s excellent physical condition and drive the community performance using KPIs, taking steps to improve both as necessary. Finally, they will aid with routine property tasks including the Final/Final. You can post. tours, leasing, and move-out inspections as determined by the needs of the business. Asset management and asset preservation are top priorities.
What You’ll Do…
- Ensure leadership style creates a productive, motivated, informed, inspired, engaged, and goal-oriented team to achieve operational goals.
- Manage and resolve any resident issues or disturbances that require immediate, physical attention at the property, such as safety concerns or emergencies. For all resident issues, including urgent or serious matters, communicate and/or guide residents to the Director of Resident Experience (DORE) team for further action and resolution.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to formulate and manage annual budgets for the community.
- Drive property performance using Apartment Snapshot to evaluate and identify areas of improvement in each KPI category and implement changes, as necessary.
- Monitor the property, including office space, restrooms, amenity areas, parking lot, and “showing” units to ensure they meet Avanti’s quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed…
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 years of supervisory responsibility or previous Assistant Community Manager experience required.
- 3 years of property management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of resident and eviction laws and computerized property management software, preferably YARDI, preferred.
- Communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to delegate and problem-solve issues.
- CAM certification preferred.
- Work Schedule and location based on position and supervisor requirements.
- Travel for business based on Avanti’s needs.
- Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required.
