Summary
An Account Manager is responsible for leading a collaborative project team while managing and growing their own book of business, inclusive of multiple accounts. This role is both operational and customer-facing in nature, requiring a proactive approach to team leadership and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the profitability, growth, and development of all accounts
- Build, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships across all accounts and throughout the industry to support customer retention.
- Manage all financial aspects of individual projects, ensuring budget adherence.
- Oversee the operations, productivity, and budget of the account team.
- Support a team of Project Administrators, Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
- Execute toward company goals within the broader framework of departmental objectives.
- Hold yourself and team members accountable to deadlines and project deliverables.
- Travel as required to job sites and / or customer-facing meetings.

This position supervises Project Manager(s), Project Coordinators(s), Project Administrator(s), and Supervisor(s) on the account team.
Work Environment
This position operates in both a professional office environment, as well as occasionally on construction and / or job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and works under fluorescent lighting. Noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate but can be severe at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
