Overview
We are looking to add a Wound Care Specialist (MD/PA/NP) to join our team. Our medical group provides on-site care to rehab and nursing facilities in the southwest Michigan area. Facilities are in South Haven and surrounding towns.
Our medical practice specializes in the management of wounds. Our practice model is one that allows for increased independence. We seek to offer the full spectrum of wound care at the patient's bedside. As such, the practitioner must be comfortable performing debridement as part of their practice (will train). The individual must be currently enrolled as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other major insurance payors in the state of Michigan. The position is for a contract, part-time employee with a 1-2 day/week work schedule. This role has the possibility of eventually becoming a full-time, W2 position with the right candidate. When rounds are done, the practitioner's day is considered complete. Experience of at least 1 year is required but training will be provided for this specialty. Driving is required to multiple locations.
Additional Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with medical professionals, families and patients is required.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience required.
