The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Biology Technician to optimize our Science Education team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.
This role will be a full-time position based out of West Henrietta, NY. You will have the opportunity to prepare and weigh samples for testing and analysis. This includes a variety of testing protocols and lab maintenance under the direction of a laboratory manager, researcher, or scientist. Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$36,000.00 - $60,000.00
Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.

What We’re Looking For
- Education: Biology degree
- Experience: 2 years lab work in a biology related field in place of education
- Plant or animal anatomy and physiology knowledge
- Sterile technique
- Familiarity with lab materials
- Safety experience with hazardous materials
- Prepare specimens for raw materials through fixation, subculture, sectioning, mounting, sexing, and labeling to be used for production and stocking in classroom use
- Record daily activities
