The Opportunity :
Avantor is looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager – Inventory to optimize our Biopharma Production organization.
The Assistant Manager will oversee the material handling, inventory control / kitting teams and supervise multi- shift Inventory Control Supervisors.
This position will report to the site Operations Manager and will collaborate with site leadership.
This is a full-time role base out of our Devens, MA location.

What we’re looking for :
- Education :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience :
- 2 years related experience that includes managing supervisors strongly preferred.
- Experience in a GMP & FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
- Additional Qualifications :
- Business level communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team building / management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting to changing situations.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processes.
- Ability to effectively interface with multiple management levels.
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools to recommend and implement warehouse changes.
- Ability to develop morale and motivation to team through positive leadership, fair performance appraisals and development within established Company policies.
