As a key member of Avantor's Lab and Production Services team, you will play a crucial role in serving over 500 customers across various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee inventory management tasks, ensuring precise control and efficient movement of consumables, chemicals, and samples.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate shipping activities, including customer material handling and routine issues resolution.
- Analyze generated data to provide sample metric updates and enhance inventory accuracy.
- Document and investigate quality events related to manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related science discipline.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling within a laboratory environment.
- Prior experience working in a GMP facility is desired.
