Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EHS Program Manager to join our organization in Paris, KY. This role will be responsible for supporting EHS programs within our chemical manufacturing site and will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in EHS principles, practices, and equipment, as well as experience in chemical manufacturing. They will be able to apply their knowledge and skills to determine if proper methods and procedures are utilized and to assure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support EHS programs within the chemical manufacturing site
- Ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal guidelines
- Conduct audits of various programs administered by EHS staff
- Develop and implement corrective action for non-standard situations/occurrences requiring immediate action
- Manage emergency response and multiple EHS programs of broad reaching scope
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline
- 5 years' experience in EHS or other related fields
- Experience in chemical manufacturing highly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of operational and technical issues and concepts
- Understanding of associate EHS requirements
