The Opportunity:
In this role, you will report to the Territory Manager and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
Location: Raritan, NJ
Shift:
1st shift Monday–Friday (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
1st shift Monday–Friday (9:00 am - 5:30 pm)

What we’re looking for
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or undergraduate degree in business or science related field is preferred
Experience: 2-4 years applicable experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required
Previous experience managing associates is required
GMP/GxP and GLP training a plus
CPR training and OSHA Right to Know preferred
Inside sales experience and cross referencing skills a plus
Valid Driver's License is required
Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
Lead and oversee team efforts while executing tasks outlined in the SOW related to customer needs.
Provides coaching and motivation to team members to ensure successful job performance and the achievement of goals and objectives.
Manage open order status reports, customer metrics, department reports, and maintains SOP/SOW documentation.
Offer training, development, and backup support for associates to ensure task completion.
Handle administrative responsibilities, including associate performance reviews, succession planning, time card monitoring, vacation scheduling, and other related duties.
Develop and maintains SOP's, SOW's, SPI's, and KPI's.
Serve as a liaison between the customer, Avantor services, and Avantor sales.
Ensure compliance with GxP/GMP and Good Documentation Practices.
Provide value to the customer by leveraging personal industry knowledge and expertise.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
