Job Title: Behavior Technician
Pay Rate: $20-23/hr
The Company:
Avanza ABA is a small company providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Most of our clients have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and need support in developing their communication, social play, and self care skills. Avanza ABA is privately owned by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst that aims to set standards for proper care of clients while growing responsibly and promoting a friendly work culture that drives success.
Avanza ABA established a strong base in 2024 and foresees an exciting period of growth in 2025. With that, we are searching for qualified Behavior Technicians passionate about helping others while gaining extraordinary professional experience in the process!
No experience in ABA is required but experience in human services is preferred or progress toward a degree in psychology, speech pathology, education, or child development.
We are hiring for part-time positions between 10-20 hours per week with potential to move to full time. We need mornings, afternoons, and early evenings filled and will work with your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to develop communication, social play, and self-management skills
- Collaborate closely with BCBA and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Record and analyze client progress through data collection and reporting tools.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards during all sessions.
- Maintain and promote positive interactions with clients and their family members
- Clean up at the end of each session and organize program materials
- Attend monthly meetings and participate in group trainings
What You Bring:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the field
- Physical ability to work in an active environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs and assisting clients when necessary
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program and passing the RBT exam (all expenses paid)
