Description and Requirements
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing creative concepts in partnership with the social media manager and agency team within our Infrastructure Solutions Group. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise, experience, and enthusiasm to help develop and implement a world-class social media strategy to build brand awareness and support the content creation team while delivering a year-over-year increase in followers and engagement. As a Social Media Specialist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to manage our social media presence across multiple platforms and geographies in a cohesive way. We are looking for someone who challenges the ordinary and seeks to innovate while also balancing execution.
Job Responsibilities :
- Track and manage social campaign performance and social media engagement metrics.
- Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for Lenovo.
- Educate Lenovo teams on social media etiquette and train employees to become more involved on social media.
- Manage content intake process and organize information in social editorial calendar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, partner alliances, product, and corporate organization to ensure a cohesive social media strategy and execution.
- Source and develop compelling content for Lenovo brand channels, employees, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Social media context experience (LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Experience working cross-functionally with other groups internally.
- Data analytics experience (Power BI).
