Primary Responsibilities
- Interact with Loan Officers and customers to assist in the compilation and preparation of the loan proposal or other documentations required for the loan approval process.
- Order credit reports, appraisals, title reports, lien searches and flood determinations as required by law or requested by the loan officer.
- Prepare loan documents based upon the loan proposal utilizing loan software application.
- Prepare loan documentation for scanning for record retention requirements.
- Manage and monitor multiple loan applications for the loan officers.
- Clear exception items, including title reports, lien releases, mortgage releases, insurance, and filed documents pertaining to the loan.
- Prepare loan deferrals, renewals, and modifications. Coordinate with lender and/or customer to gather information regarding the appropriate information needed for these actions.
- Prepare SBA Loans.
- Review past due and coming due reports.
- Responsible for overall monitoring of assigned existing portfolio for loan officers.
- Work with loan operation personnel and/or Compliance Officer to ensure all documents meet federal and state guidelines and bank policy.
- Assist with reports and audits with loan operations or compliance as necessary.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information.
- Provide prompt quality service to all customers within acceptable time limits.
- Review and track loan covenant compliance by customers and in the event of non-compliance, assist the lender in the necessary waiver and/or mitigation of such.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years Consumer, Commercial and Real Estate documentation preparation with at least five years of banking experience.
- Must have a good understanding of applicable federal and state laws and regulations as they relate to loan documentation and bank compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
