Job Summary :
This is a full-time, direct placement position. The Assistant Director of Clinical Services (RN) plays a pivotal role in the oversight and delivery of high-quality patient care in a home healthcare setting. As an Assistant Director, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Services to manage clinical operations, support staff development, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Your leadership will be integral in fostering a culture of clinical excellence and ensuring that patients receive personalized, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Oversight : Supervise and coordinate clinical services, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards of care.
Staff Development : Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of clinical staff, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
Quality Assurance : Monitor patient care quality and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including documentation standards and home healthcare policies.
Patient Care Coordination : Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Clinical Leadership : Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
Crisis Management : Provide immediate guidance and support in clinical emergencies, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
Documentation : Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records of patient care, staff activities, and operational performance.
Operational Support : Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and administrative duties as needed to optimize clinical services.
Requirements :
Licensure : Must hold an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home healthcare setting is required.
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Certification : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Skills :
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation.
Ability to multitask and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to travel to patient homes and clinical sites as required.
