Job Description

Established and growing insurance defense law firm, with offices throughout the northeast, seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Charlotte, NC . While in-office work is preferred, a hybrid schedule may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Review legal documents
  • Draft legal responses and motions
  • Represent clients in court appearances
  • Conduct and attend depositions
  • Perform comprehensive legal research

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of recent experience in litigation defense
  • Prior experience with medical malpractice and / or insurance defense is a plus
  • Current active membership in the North Carolina Bar Association
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Trial experience is not required, but highly valued
