Responsibilities:
- Counsel clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, asset protection, and estate administration.
- Draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts for high-net-worth individuals.
- Provide guidance on estate and gift tax matters, including supervising tax return preparation.
- Research and analyze complex legal and tax issues.
- Prepare and review contracts, business filings, and other business-related documents.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of experience in trusts & estates, with a focus on complex estate planning for high-net-worth individuals.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of estate and gift tax rules.
- Experience with estate and trust administration.
- Experience with business formations and corporate transactions is a plus.
- Strong writing ability, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- A dedication to building and maintaining client relationships.
