The Position : We’re looking for a Student Success Team Member!

Responsibilities :

Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
Assist in the coordination and management of all functions and activities surrounding the student experience
Ensure the student handbook, rules and regulations and mission is being adhered to, including matters related to attendance, attire, graduation progress, etc.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of student life cycle in school management database, including attendance, grades, and any other items in the database
Conduct regular audits of student files to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant
Enter and manage daily attendance to ensure all student hours are accurate and verified
Ensure student grades are entered and monitor GPAs for SAP compliance
Assist in maintenance of placement, graduation, State Board pass rates, etc. for NACCAS
Actively participate in career fairs; plan and coordinate career fairs as necessary
Serve as a contact for salons and spas inquiring about student placement
Perform duties as assigned and / or required to meet business needs
Abide by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Continuous retail, customer service, restaurant, or hospitality experience required; experience in the cosmetology industry highly preferred

Exhibit initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work at a fast pace in a "high touch" environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed

Strong commitment to customer service excellence and to the Company’s mission and vision

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Walk, stand up, and / or sit for up to eight (8) hours per day

Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms

Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear

See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents

Occasionally lift and / or move objects up to 30 pounds

Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a school setting
