Avellino Commercial Floor Covering is seeking a results-driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Flooring Sales Representative to spearhead business development across our commercial markets. This role focuses on cultivating new relationships, maintaining key accounts, and driving revenue through tailored flooring solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with general contractors, developers, and end users
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial construction markets
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure accurate and competitive bids
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent outreach and follow-ups
- Attend networking events, job walks, and pre-bid meetings to generate leads
- Maintain knowledge of flooring trends, materials, and technical requirements
- Track sales metrics, maintain CRM data, and report regularly to leadership
- Work closely with vendors to source and price materials competitively
Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven sales success in the commercial construction or flooring industry
- Knowledge of commercial flooring materials (carpet, VCT, LVT, rubber, epoxy, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a drive to exceed quotas
- Comfortable reading blueprints and collaborating with estimators
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Preferred:
- Prior experience selling to general contractors or property managers
- Understanding of project bid cycles and construction schedules
