JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for working with customers and internal teams to install, configure and test the Interfaces for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Configure the interface linkages at both EMR and PM customers sites and perform Data Conversions.
- Proficient with electronic data standards such as HL7, FHIR, XML, and ANSI, and has proven problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Design, document, develop, test and validate interfaces and/or conversions.
- Developing timely estimates for project deliverables.
- Provide interface management training to relevant customers and teammates.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with integration deliverables and services.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of any Interfaces Software and its use and function in client's environment.
- Provide focused, timely, high-quality resolutions for customer integration issues.
- Responsible for the interoperability design, development, and implementation of business applications and related middleware components.
- Monitor integration performance and quickly respond to production defects.
- Plans flow, process, screens/reports, input/output, resources and back-up plans.
- Tests, evaluates, debugs programs, code, interfaces, and processes.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting programming and operational problems.
- Performs feasibility studies and cost analysis of system changes; evaluates software.
- Documents and prepares reports of program developments and revisions.
- Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned within scope of practice.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or the equivalent combination of experience and training and at least three years’ experience in the relevant languages or enterprise systems in the operating environment and the ability to speak, read and write English is required.
- 3 years in SQL query language, SSRS, SSIS.
- 3 years HL7, FHIR, XML, API.
- 3 years of creating effective reports and support documentation.
- Knowledge of flat file transfers, modules and integrations required.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- Industry related certifications preferred.
