Job Purpose
The position monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions. They will provide consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. Ensures policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes.

Essential Functions Include But Not Limited To
- Supports production areas with quality issues and questions.
- Participates in external audits and leads supplier and internal plan audits.
- Maintains documentation on audit findings and is responsible for following up on corrective action plans and areas of nonconformance.
- Oversees the process for raw material and finished product specification updates and approvals.
- Presides over all audits and written action plans.
- Assists with the implementation of systems to enhance best practices and better outcomes.
- Assists with the directing and supervising day-to-day functions of quality improvement.
- Participates in providing in-service training to clinical staff in areas of documentation requirements/ and changes in confidentiality or clinical procedures.
- Informs supervisor or leadership of staff training needs, consultation and education needs, and orientation of new staff.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with supervisor and peers and develops integrated service provisions with other programs.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

- Act as a preceptor as requested.
- Demonstrate excellent work attendance and actively participate in a variety of meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to the Avem Health Partners Code of Conduct and Standards of Behavior. Complies with established policies and procedures and all health and safety requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Two (2) years’ experience in quality assurance.
- Current RN or LPN license from the State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
