Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire protection systems, including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and suppression systems.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local fire codes, and industry regulations.
- Identify and report deficiencies, recommending necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Provide clear documentation of inspection results and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Educate clients on system maintenance and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with technicians and service teams to schedule follow-up repairs as needed.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in fire protection inspections or a related field preferred.
- NICET, ICC, or state fire inspector certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 72, NFPA 10, and other applicable codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete thorough inspections.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (rooftops, ladders, confined spaces).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
