Closing Consumer Supervisor, Retail Lending

Salary : $84-120K Dependent on Exp.

PURPOSE

Responsible for the following functions for all mortgage and consumer loans products : preclosing file updates, closing document preparation, scheduling, post-closing, and shipping functions. Continual review of the quality of loan processing and closing. Final HMDA file review. Active participation in overall pipeline progression. Consumer loan underwriting and branch liaison.

Key Results Areas :

  • Management of loan pipeline Mortgage including HELOC’S and Consumer
  • Responsiveness to internal / external customers and attorneys
  • Leadership of closing staff
  • High level of customer service
  • Regulatory compliance and pertinent audit oversight
  • Assist in overall Encompass Administration

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Supports and promotes our client's Mission, Vision and Growth.
  • Performs quality control review of all work done by team members.
  • Determines priorities and distribution of workload in managing loan pipeline.
  • Provides training and assistance to team members.
  • Regularly innovates and streamlines processes and creates efficiencies to meet deadlines and changing regulatory standards.
  • Ensure loans are closed in a timely manner, pass Quality Control check, Shipped and Purchased by Secondary in compliance with all appropriate regulations.
  • Responds to questions from Attorneys expediently. Addresses all conditions that need to be meet and remedy any outstanding issues still pending.
  • Communicate with Attorneys on a daily basis for establishing closing dates compliant with TRID timing regulations including a detailed discussion regarding the Commitment Letter terms and conditions.
  • Conducts daily huddles to establish priorities and workflow schedule.
  • Preparation of loan commitment letters as needed.
  • Orders and reviews necessary loan closing documents, credit, title, and insurance.
  • Oversees and can perform backup to Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Quality Control, Shipping, Purchase and Post Closing.
  • Assists team members in all aspects including loan servicing, borrowers, and loan officers as required with any questions or concerns.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
  • Education And Qualifications :

  • NMLS required.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 5 years residential mortgage lending and closing experience.
  • Prior knowledge of Consumer Lending and Encompass Admin.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of FNMA, investor underwriting guidelines, and mortgage loan processing.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.

    Salary : $84,000 - $120,000
