What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Avenir Senior?
LPN - Full-time and Part-time
We are seeking experienced LPNs to join our Chandler team. Full-time and Part-time -12 hour shifts 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am.
Our LPN's play an important role in the lives of the seniors we serve and are a key member of our team, adhering to Avenir's policy and procedures and upholding Avenir's mission, philosophy and values.
Responsibilities:(include but not limited to)
Providing direct nursing care to our residents
Delegate and supervise the care provided by our Caregivers
Administer medication, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed and complete documentation as required.
Identify resident medical and behavioral changes
Respond to emergent situations within the community
Communicate and collaborate regarding ongoing care
Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
Qualifications:
Compassionate with Seniors
Dependable and Reliable
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Must be a good listener
Ability to build rapport with residents
Experience in Assisted Living and Dementia Preferred, but not required
Excellent communication skills
Self-Disciplined, driven, able to demonstrate initiative, with high attention to details
Strong integrity and accountability
Ability to be flexible
Strong leadership and teaching skills
