About the Role
The Associate Account Manager will develop and nurture relationships with Aventi Health's customers, focusing on identifying and executing growth opportunities.  This role serves as a strategic partner to customers, helping them expand their utilization of Aventi Health's 340B solutions and unlock additional value. The Associate Account Manager will work under the guidance of senior team members to drive account expansion, increase revenue through upsells and cross-sells, and ensure strong customer retention.

The Associate Account Manager will collaborate with customers to align Aventi Health's solutions with their evolving business strategies while advocating for their needs internally. This position requires building relationships with various stakeholders, analyzing customer usage data, and developing account growth plans. 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within assigned accounts to drive incremental revenue growth
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear growth milestones and expansion strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and economic buyers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who can expand their 340B program capabilities
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver compelling sales presentations that demonstrate the ROI of additional Aventi Health solutions
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews that highlight achieved value and create urgency around new sales opportunities
  • Analyze customer usage data to create targeted sales proposals for additional products or services
  • Navigate the sales process from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closing
  • Meet or exceed quarterly performance goals for account expansion and retention rates
  • Track sales pipeline and forecast account growth in CRM, maintaining appropriate pipeline coverage
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of newly sold solutions
  • Stay current on 340B regulations and competitive offerings to effectively position Aventi Health's solutions during sales conversations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management or expansion roles
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
  • Experience with consultative selling approaches and handling objections effectively
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to articulate value propositions and overcome pricing objections
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with economic buyers and decision-makers
  • Basic understanding of healthcare technology solutions with eagerness to develop deeper industry knowledge
  • Excellent sales presentation skills and ability to create compelling business cases
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting methodologies or willingness to learn
  • Results-oriented with a drive to exceed performance expectations
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team sales goals

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of 340B program operations and regulations
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmacy or related field
  • Experience with Google Suite, Slack, Copper (CRM), and Intercom

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
