The position will engage with subject matter experts within RTC, Global Information Security (GIS), and Compliance organizations, with a focus on completing risk deliverables documenting/tracking new risks in the environment. Coverage will be in support of the Bank of America Risk Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with subject matter experts across RTC, Global Information Security (GIS), and Compliance teams.
- Complete risk deliverables, documenting and tracking new risks in the environment.
- Risk Remediation:
- Track and manage issues and concerns related to application security, vulnerability threats, software bugs, or code issues.
- Ensure applications meet baseline compliance standards (e.g., QRS1.2).
- Document, track, fix, and update identified risks.
- Application Deliverables Management:
- Monitor and ensure timely closure of assigned application deliverables.
- Work closely with application managers to complete compliance tasks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Influence and interact with Devs, Engineers, and other teams to drive compliance efforts.
- Proactively track down responsible teams for issue resolution.
- Adaptability & Threat Response:
- Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities and adjust priorities based on threat levels.
- Deliver risk assessments and remediation plans in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 3-5 years in risk management, vulnerability analysis, or security engineering.
- Technical Background:
- Network engineering experience is highly preferred.
- Security engineering or vulnerability analysis experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
