Position: Lead Java Developer
Location: Southlake TX (Hybrid role)
Duration: 7 months W2 Contract
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Take a Lead role coaching a scrum team in JAVA and Cloud Development platforms that includes frontend and backend technologies like Spring-boot, PCF and more.
- Need to have experience in Cloud technologies like PCF, AWS and other and have handled both development and deployment to those environment.
- Ensure deliverable meets the standards with respect to code quality, unit test cases, and best coding practices for all code implementations.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Lead development on Proof-of-Concept projects to help create reusable patterns for development.
- experience with a bachelor s degree or an advanced degree in computer science or related subject.
- experience with developing Java, Spring-Boot, Spring Framework, Cloud based development, Rest and micro services and micro-UI development.
- Experience coaching junior, staff level developers.
- Strong expertise in system design from mid-scale to enterprise application design.
- Strong ability to take proposed architecture and/or leadership goals and translate them into detailed technical design documents and lay out the solution roadmap for the engineering teams.
- Experience in the full SDLC including delivery.
- Strong ability to Design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, and performance.
- 1-3 years experience with Atlassian tool suites Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience using IDE and GIT repositories for code management.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem resolution skills
