Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with Sales VP to prioritize and target team opportunities; Understand mechanisms for building team capacity and improving team performance.
- Create and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, including onboarding, product training, and ongoing professional development.
- Develop and manage sales enablement content, such as playbooks, presentations, case studies, and competitive analysis.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Plan and execute sales kickoff events to align the sales team with company goals and strategies.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to sales representatives to enhance their performance and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee pipeline and forecast management to ensure accurate sales projections and effective resource allocation.
- Overseeing the process for the successful creation of winning proposals, addressing the “3 C’s” (Compliant, Complete and Compelling).
- Develop and implement territory design strategies to optimize sales coverage and maximize revenue potential.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats, and provide actionable insights to the sales team.
- Gather feedback from the sales team to continuously improve sales enablement programs and resources.
- Understand the key business drivers of customers in the law enforcement industry
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborations, both internally and externally
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Ability to create and deliver effective training programs.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma and applicable work experience preferably in a business-related field.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in sales enablement tools and technologies.
- 10 year in Business Development, Sales Enablement, Marketing or related
- BA/BS University degree with concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales or business administrations preferred.
- RFP / Proposal experience
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
