Job Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining organization and standard processing procedure of seized and recovered electronic media from clients.

Essential Duties:

• Receive and log all seized recovered electronic media into spreadsheets as well as ERIN (when applicable).
• Create proper documentation for all recovered electronic media including proper completion of chain of custody paperwork.
• Take clear digital photos of all seized evidence.
• Effectively handle biohazard evidence.
• Support the clients and departments within the business unit by communicating the status of inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Understanding of computers, document management; internet; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and
  Outlook; Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Digital Forensics, Business or related field
• Proficient in Excel
• Possession of professional certifications and membership in professional associations is highly desirable

Physical Requirements:

• While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
• Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
