Responsibilities
- Design and create unique floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their floral selections and offering expert advice.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure that all floral supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and phone (only if sales clerk in need of back up assistance)
- Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.
- Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continually enhance design skills.
- Communicate effectively with customers and/or staff to understand their needs and preferences.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the shop, ensuring it is inviting and well-presented.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floral design or a related field is required.
- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Basic cash handling experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A passion for flowers and creativity in designing arrangements is essential.
- Good attitude, team player and professionalism is a must.
