What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Aventura Health Group?
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Two years previous experience as transporter, chauffeur, or similar experience preferred.
Current CDL licensure is required. Must have Class B. Proof of insurance required annually. DOT testing required.
Ability to communicate with residents and staff regarding scheduling of transportation. Customer service skills.
Exposure to elements depending upon the weather conditions. May work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings per the schedule in activities or due to resident schedules.
Ability to lift and/or transfer weights up to 30 pounds. Bending, stooping, and able to stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity and mobility required. Pushing/pulling.
