Local client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support. This role is critical to aligning our people strategy with our business objectives and driving organizational success. SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning People and Culture strategies with business objectives in a manufacturing environment. This role supports plant leadership teams, drives People and Culture initiatives, and ensures effective people management practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR policies and practices that support strategic growth
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and professional roles in the plant
- Lead people initiatives to support key plant goals and objectives
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and employee development
- Offer expertise in areas such as employee relations, compensation, and organizational development
- Monitor turnover and develop strategies to maintain high morale, engagement, and retention
- Analyze people metrics and maintain dashboards to drive workforce management decisions
- Ensure all actions support a culture of safety and operational excellence
- Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to champion a culture of excellence and colleague engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Experience in organizational development and change management
- Bilingual preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
