Maintenance Technician
Starts at $34.91/hr
Night Shift (2-2-3) schedule
Seeking mechanically inclined individuals eager to join a global leader in the food industry! We have immediate openings for dedicated Maintenance Technicians on the night shift. Applicants must be available to work every other weekend as part of their regular schedule. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Calibrate and document metal detector adjustment.
- Support or lead plant-wide maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
- Successfully execute assigned projects including welding, machining, mechanical, electrical, and work orders as assigned.
- Oversee plant utilities and safety systems
- Collaborate with other departments
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and utilize PLC systems for troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Variable Frequency Drive issues.
- Maintain positive working relationships and communication with others.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in maintenance or an equivalent trade school certificate preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) and experience with PLC’s and VFD’s preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay (includes shift differential) $34.91/hour
