Overhead Crane Operator | $17.00 DOE /hr
Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm some overtime as needed.
A locally owned steel company in Sioux City, Iowa is looking for an overhead crane operator to join their team! This position works both independently and on a team to move sheets of metals. This is a great opportunity to work with a long-term, reputable steel company in the area. This is an overhead crane operator with only a select number of positions available at State Steel. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks by operating an overhead crane.
- Checking sheets of metal for imperfections.
- Keep shop and areas clean.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Requirements:
- Heavy physical lifting, reaching, stooping and kneeling.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, saws, and tape measure.
- Ability to operate an overhead crane.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
